I recently posted my experience at a hospital with a doctor who’s team told me over and over again that they would likely have to amputate my leg.

They never even offered the option to try and open up my arteries that i know should’ve been done and could’ve been done.

I decided to share my experience as the supervising doctor answered, “Sure” when I asked if I could record our conversation during the hospital consultation.

But this doctor it seems told Youtube that there was a privacy issue with that video being posted so they made me take it down.

When I posted it, I figured it was like leaving a written review on Google and Doctors can’t lobby to take those patient experiences down.

So, I thought about what a disservice it is to other Black Americans not having my experienced shared so that they get the confidence to stand up against amputation as well.

That’s why I decided to take that doctor completely out of my video and share with you just the critical piece of the conversation that I think will help you maybe save your limb.

If the doctor thinks me sharing her side of the conversation to give her a say is a violation of her privacy.

I honor that.

But while she has the money and clout to have her voice heard by mainstream media, ProPublica will only hear her voice and not mine.

I just had to figure out a way to use my experience as a learning for others because it brings tears to my eyes that there are people like me that doctors are just chopping off legs without even any second thought or consideration.

Even with the changes I made to the Youtube video, Youtube still took down the video because I believe this doctor claimed it was a privacy violation.

I don’t agree.

But I can’t fight the elite. So a friend of mine Charles was able to post my video testimony on TikTok since YouTube censored me.

Here is that video which I hope that will inspire you to stand up against amputation as I did :

My only other option was one of our amazing advocates who unconditionally stands by the side of patients with PAD.

Kym McNicholas gave me the opportunity to share my voice on “The Heart of Innovation’s” “Save My Piggies” series.

She knows the power of the patient voice and provides the platform for us to be heard.

Watch and listen to my story!

Learn from it!

You deserve the best, most advanced care!

You must stand up for your legs!

Stand up for your life my friends!

God bless!
