Kevin Morgan is truly a force to be reckoned with as a former veterinarian, PhD, author and world class athlete, who is persevering despite being dealt DNA that led to aortic disease and peripheral artery disease.
He’s always loved to participate in marathons. And he thought his days of running and competing were over when diagnosed with an AAA and PAD.
Since learning of his AAA and PAD, he decided that he couldn’t quit training, he just had to modify it to improve his prognosis by competing to live a longer, better quality of life.
He explains in this interview with me, Global PAD Association founder and Interventional Cardiologist Dr. John Phillips that the journey has not been easy on him both physically and mentally. He says he fights for every other step and he hopes his story will inspire others to do the same.
After talking to me and Dr. Phillips, he talked to others with PAD about tangible ways to improve their circulation based on his research and experience:
Kevin gets asked a lot about how to do ‘Yoga’ toes so he put together a quick demo:

Kevin writes a powerful blog and has published multiple books hoping that his tips will help others persevere with PAD and an AAA.
