Hello my fellow PAD warriors!
Confessions of a Walk-aholic!
While walking this morning this thought came to me after watching a documentary of SR Edmund Hillary (the first person to reach the top of Mount Everest)
Each step some days seem like mountains to me.
With each step I must convince myself that I can take that next step.
It kinda hit me that it’s not getting to 10,000 steps necessarily but taking that next step.
Even though the goal is to reach 10,000 steps a day, which would be a monumental moment, it’s always going to be a milestone if I can walk and maintain my pace with PAD both mentally and physically.
Why?
It’s still the journey of taking that next step, when I say I can’t.
It’s One Step Away.
It’s One Step at a Time.
“It’s not the mountains we conquer but ourselves.’
